Cinnamon Pumpkin Froyo

Happy Friday! I hope you have had a great week! The protein ice cream recipe I have been promising for the last 10 days is finally here!! So simple you won’t even believe it! I am sharing with you the cinnamon pumpkin one I made the other day, the peanut butter recipe I posted on instagram and the vanilla raspberry one I make at night! I am going to give you the basic instructions as well so that you can let your imagination (and taste buds) run wild!! I hope you enjoy it! Have a great weekend! :)

Fit Ingredients (Basic Recipe)

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 c fruit
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • sweetener to taste
  • 5-6 cups ice


1. Place your milk, fruit and protein powder into the bottom of the blender**.

2. Add in your ice.

3. Blend on the highest speed for 2-3 minutes (it should begin to fluff up).

4. You may need to scrape down the sides and give it a quick mix in the middle to make sure it is all incorporated.

5. Pour the mixture into a container.

Now, you have 2 options:

A) You can eat it right away. It will be thick, but will melt quicker.

B) You can put it in the freezer for 30-40 minutes and give it a mix every 10 minutes or so to make it more ice cream like.

**This recipe requires the use of a high speed blender such as the ninja or a vitamix.**

That’s it! Soooo simple! This recipe makes about 7-8 cups of frozen yogurt! If you’re like me, you will eat it all in one sitting! haha Or you could be nice and share so with a loved one! 😉

Cinnamon Pumpkin Recipe

  • 1/2 c (122g) pumpkin
  • 1 c unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 scoop Cinnamon Swirl protein powder (I used Cellucor)
  • stevia to taste
  • extra cinnamon 😉
  • 6 cups ice

Vanilla Raspberry Recipe

  • 1/2 c fresh raspberries
  • 1 c unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla casein protein powder (I used ON)
  • vanilla creme stevia, to taste
  • 6 c ice

Peanut Butter Recipe

  • 1/2 (70g) banana
  • 1 c unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 scoop Peanut Butter Marshmallow protein powder (I used cellucor)
  • stevia, to taste
  • 1 tbs crunchy peanut butter
  • 6 c ice

If I have one during the day I will make it with whey protein and if I make it at night I will use the casein

Nutrition (for Cinnamon Pumpkin Froyo)

Calories: 215.0, Protein: 27.0g, Carb: 14.0g, Fat: 4.5g (3.5g Saturated)*, Sodium: 135mg, Fiber: 6g, Sugar: 5g (net carbs: 9.0g)

*fat will be lower if you use a different kind of milk

215 calories for 7-8 cups of frozen yogurt is my kind of meal!! :)

      Haha! This makes like 7-9 cups depending on how much ice you use…..and I DEFINITELY eat the entire thing in one sitting! haha

      Haha! I am such a vanilla girl too!!! And mint chocolate chip is delicious…..I may have to make a protein version of that! 😉

      Cookie dough is DELICIOUS! And I am definitely a vanilla protein girl too. Mostly because you can make it into so many fun flavors!

    Think I like coconut milk ice cream from the store more though :)

    Maybe would try it if I had a ninja…but they are super expensive, so I got a magic bullet instead — guess that wouldn’t work..too bad!

    The protein powder is a 30 gram scoop? (like 4-5 tbsps. of protein?).

      Hi Chine! My scoop is 34g but you can use any amount you’d like. The bullet won’t work since it is not powerful enough to blitz through all the ice.

    I use vanilla protein powder most since it is easy to add into recipes & then flavor it from there…. I like a lot of brands… DW, MetRX, Dynmatize & more!

    I don’t eat ice cream anymore but as a kid – Mocha Chip from back east & coffee!!!!!!!!!!!
